Collecting sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) data is a critical component of providing comprehensive and inclusive care for LGBTQ patients. In 2016, the Health Resources and Services Administration introduced new requirements in the Uniform Data System that require health centers to collect and report data related to sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI).

This on-demand webinar defines SOGI data and identifies best practices for data collection and discusses why SOGI data collection is an important component of an LGBTQ+ inclusive clinical environment.
