Guidelines for managing menopausal symptoms continue to evolve, with an eye to balancing benefits and risks of therapy. Recent guidelines from the North American Menopause Society are reviewed, with a focus on the management of perimenopausal and recently menopausal women. In addition, new approaches to genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) are discussed.

  • Describe the unique properties of “bioequivalent hormone” products and compare them with commercially available hormonal products
